The party leader of the Thurinigian AfD Bjüörn Höcke said that we have to re-write history. He said that Germans shouldn’t remember the non-German (including Jewish) victims of the Nazi-regime. That it is time to ignore it and only remember German victims. That the holocaust memorial in Berlin has to go as it is a memorial of shame and that Germans are the only people who remember their shame.

HOW CAN ANY PERSON BE SO VILE! HOW CAN A PERSON SIT THERE AND SAY WE SHOULD FORGET THAT THE NAZI-REGIME IS PART OF GERMAN HISTORY AND THAT WE SHOULD FORGET THAT IT KILLED 50 MILLION PEOPLE? HOW CAN A PERSON SIT THERE AND SAY THAT WHILE THE VICTIMS OF THAT GENOCIDE ARE VERY MUCH ALIVE? How can he deny the German responsibility? This is one of the worst things I heard in a long time.

I really hope he goes to prison for that. The AfD are neo-Nazis. They are the worst of the worst. They don’t belong in any parliaments they belong behind bars. Anyone who sympathises with them is one of them. They are inhuman criminals that mistreat our German values, our German constitution, our German history, and our German conscious. They are the real traitors of the German people.
